David graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with highest honors from the University of Michigan. David also started and runs the South Jersey Technology Networking Group.
Prior to Comcast Ventures, David worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns. Touchdown Ventures is expanding its team and hiring a venture capital Analyst. David also helped start and was a partner at Genacast Ventures, a seed stage venture capital fund affiliated with Comcast Ventures. David managed investments in Entropic (NASDAQ: ENTR), Intellon (NASDAQ: ITLN), Invite Media (acquired by Google), LinkShare (acquired by Rakuten), Nuera Communications (acquired by Audicodes), Rubicon Project (NYSE: RUBI), and XOS Digital (acquired by JumpTV/Neulion.) David also led investments in several prominent privately-held companies including BlackArrow, Ninth Decimal, SnagFilms, UberMedia, Videology, Visible World, and Zero Fox. Rich Grant is the founder & Managing Partner at Touchdown Ventures, a venture capital firm that partners with leading corporations to manage. At Comcast Ventures, David focused on investments in digital media, advertising technology, digital home, education and financial technology. Touchdown Ventures helps manage Olympus Innovation Ventures with a dedicated corporate venture capital team, partnering on all aspects of operating the fund. David joined Comcast Ventures in 2000 as one of the first employees of the venture capital group.
